Filming Establishing shots

Today we filmed our establishing shots to show the location of Alex's house, using the higher floors of the college to help us film the entire horizon of Haywards Heath. Pans are used extensively for establishing shots, with them primarily showing the setting for the scene, we've drawn on these ideas to set the scene for our domestic scenes. Here is our pan shot of the surrounding houses and small businesses in Haywards Heath.

Here is our shot;

Change of Location. (Zoe + Bekah)

We have changed our location from Ryan's house to his friend.

This was because it looked neutral for what we wanted, as he has noting to happening to him yet so having a dark room would not be a good option. Also he is an adult, so having a room that looks like a teenagers room wouldn't fit in with the aim.

Problems with Filming. (Zoe + Bekah)

There was some issues with filming our piece, these were:

The camera broke while filming.
The lighting was to light for what we wanted as we need high key lighting but not that bight.
A lot of the filming was done, however some stills were taken and will be uploaded soon.
